Welcome to Twenty One Clear’s July Newsletter!
Our goal each month is to create a newsletter that helps you focus on your inner family business; that organization at the center of your family company.
This month, I want to, 1) explain Twenty One Clear, 2) outline our content release schedule, 3) ask you to follow the podcast and, 4) share a bonus video from the June episode.
1. What is Twenty One Clear?
When you work with your family, you want two things: a great company and a strong family around it.
So why does the opposite happen? Why do many family companies fail to reach their maximum value, and the families around them succumb to tension or infighting?
These questions fascinated me, and I founded Twenty One Clear believing that families, with the right support, can chaos proof their family business and reach their personal and professional goals.
Twenty One Clear provides family business consulting services and resources, all focused on the inner family business.
The resources currently include this newsletter, a podcast, LinkedIn posts, webinars (see below), and a coming book.
2. Content Release Schedule
Next year, I will publish Chaos Proof your Family Business (working title). The book outlines a framework for building trust, creating clarity and increasing communication amongst the family members, family employees, and family owners around or working in your family company.
Leading up to Chaos Proof’s publication, Twenty One Clear will release a monthly newsletter and podcast on this schedule:
Second week of each month - Publish newsletter
Fourth week of each month - Release podcast

4. Newsletter Only Bonus Video
In the June episode, I interviewed Dr. Sara Davis, the Director of Kennesaw State University’s Family Enterprise Center.
We spent 25 minutes diving into the increasing interest in family offices. However, after we wrapped, Sara and I stayed on for an unrelated question:
